STM’s new Athletic Board is looking for an energetic, skilled person to develop and oversee STM’s athletic programs. This is a part time, paid position. Interested persons should contact the Board’s Chair, Mary Wagner chair@stmathletics.org for more information.

Fr. Mark formed the STM Athletics Board several months ago and gave them the charge to develop parish-based athletic programs and activities for the benefit of parishioners of all ages and abilities. Fr. Mark and the Board both understand that sports and fitness activities are a wonderful way to deepen the bonds of friendship between parishioners who might not otherwise have occasion to interact. Athletics Board members are: Mary Wagner (Chair), Jimmy Muller, Luke Brewster, Theo Anderson, Paul Roeser, Kristen Heller, and Quinn Postero. Fr. Mark and Shaun Bland, the principal of STM’s school, are ex officio members of the Board.

Outdoor Basketball Goalsbasketball_hoops_thankyou
You may have noticed the two new outdoor basketball hoops at STM—the students certainly have enjoyed them so far! The new hoops are here thanks to the fund-raising efforts of the Mom & Pop’s basketball tournament last spring and our newly formed Athletic Board. A special “thank you” to Father Mark, the Parish, Board Members, and those that donated for this exciting new addition to our campus. For additional information on how you can participate in future athletic projects and or programs please feel free to contact Paul Roeser at treasurer@stmathletics.org
