What are Life Groups?STM Life Group Logo
Every week small faith communities gather in people’s homes as a way to cultivate their faith and form new community and friendships. Consider joining one of these Life Groups! At each gathering you will join in some sort of meal, reflect, share, and pray with your fellow group members. Each Life Group has a facilitator and may have certain themes and will meet at different times and locations (see the signup for those details). Space is limited but new groups may appear throughout the months. Each Life Group meets for a ten-week period at which time you’ll have the opportunity to continue in the group or join another group.

Each group is intentionally small (about 8 or 9 people) in order to foster the closeness of group members. Some groups may use scripture to focus their gatherings. Others may use another text, a video, a church document, or an article to spark conversation, but the focus is the faith sharing among the group members.

Become a Life Group Facilitator
Lead your own Life Group! It’s just a ten-week commitment. You need not have led a small group before, but you are asked to attend a two-hour training where you will learn more about Life Groups, the format, and how to facilitate. You will also receive a facilitator’s handbook. Facilitators will also be allowed to be reimbursed up to $50 for food and beverages purchased for their group.
