God desires communion with each one of us, and God initiates relationship with us by reaching out and by making himself known in our individual and community experience.   Our spirituality is the way we describe our experience of God, and it shapes how we pray.  As Christians, we have experienced God’s initiative most clearly in the person of Jesus, and we seek communion with God through communion with Jesus.
As Roman Catholics in a parish sponsored by the Society of Jesus, our spirituality and prayer are informed by our Catholic roots and by Jesuit traditions.
