inhouse_mission4_2017.JPGOn Tuesday July  25th & Wednesday, July 26th we had our 4th annual ‘in-house mission’  with the EDGE middle school group.  The theme was “Heart of God/Where is YOUR Heart?”.  The purpose was to gather the youth and have them help, not only around the parish grounds, but to assist the STM school teachers in setting up their classrooms before the kids came back to school.

The 2 day service project started at 9am & ended with daily Mass at 5:30pm.   We averaged 24 middle school youth each day.  A HUGE shout out to Ms. Hannah Harvey (STM alum) who has planned and executed this for the last 4 years!  Here is a partial list of what was accomplished (some of it in 90+ degree heat)

We worked, we laughed, we sweated (a lot), threw water balloons and came to know that part of our heart is in service to our parish & school. The question is: Where is your heart?
