Our Lenten Call to Love
In his most recent encyclical, Pope Francis reminds us that “Our call to love [is] one that transcends all prejudices,
all historical and cultural barriers, all petty interests” (Fratelli Tutti 83). Throughout Lent, let us pray for converted hearts, committed to care for both our fellow human beings and our common home. The Social Justice committee has selected a prayer to be read each Sunday during Lent at the end of the general intercessions. We invite you to continue praying with it throughout the week.
Deliver Us From Evil, a prayer to end racism.
