500 years ago St. Ignatius of Loyola was injured by a cannonball in battle. That rock-bottom moment set off a conversion of heart that led to him writing the Spiritual Exercises and founding the Jesuit order – the reason our parish is staffed by Jesuits and Ignatian lay ministers! Celebrate the beginning of the Ignatian Year, commemorating Ignatius’ conversion with a live bilingual prayer service on May 19 at 7pm.
Fr. Joseph M. O’Keefe, SJ, provincial of the USA East Province, and others will reflect on the vision of the Ignatian Year to deepen our practice of Ignatian spirituality and find new possibilities for ourselves and for our world. RSVP
Throughout the coming year St. Thomas More and Ignatius House will be offering special programming for you to deepen your understanding of the Ignatian spiritual tradition.
