Thursdays, July 1, 8, 15, and 22 – 7:30pm, Mulhern Hall (Registration required)
What does a 16th century celibate saint have to say about marriage today? St. Ignatius of Loyola developed the Spiritual Exercises as a way for individuals to grow closer to God. If God is love, then the Spiritual Exercises can lead us closer to one another as well. Join us for a 4-week marriage enrichment program that will follow the movements of Ignatius’ 4 weeks of the Spiritual Exercises adapted for relationships. Couples will be given tools from Ignatian spirituality such as the rules for the discernment of spirits, a relationship Examen, imaginative prayer exercises, and reflection activities to grow closer to God and one another. Whether you’ve been married 6 months or 60 years, there’s always more to explore in the great mystery of God (and love!). Give yourself and your marriage the gift of summer lovin’!
