St. Thomas More Catholic Church’s Social Justice Committee operates a grant program. In the 2023-24 grant cycle, we will continue to emphasize two focus areas: 1) racial justice and 2) poverty and income inequality.
Our goal is to fund one-time grants with significant impact. We prioritize capital expenses (for example, construction projects, equipment, or other tangible needs) over operating expenses. We expect to have approximately $130,000 in total funds to distribute this year, with the largest possible grant to any organization being $40,000. Our grant application deadline this year is November 15, 2023, and final awards will be announced by April 1, 2024.
The application deadline for our 2023 Cycle is Wednesday, November 15.
